Maeve 4

I slept like a rock last night. Mae woke up pretty early, with both Mom and Dad following soon after. However, I slept through it all. Mom told me that at two times during the night, she reached out and said something along the lines of Abe, and once actually leaned to try to get over to my bed. Once I woke up, she was ecstatic, and beamed wider than I have ever seen. I feel very special.
Once we had really woken up,we went down for breakfast, where we met the friend of one of the earlier travel people, who took her off our hands (read: Mom's aching arm) for a while. We then went out for awalk to the lake and the Intermix. There I got an English-Vietnamese dictionary from a guy on the street. It was the first one I had seen, even over here, so I was kind of surprised he had one (or three). Dad was feeling very sick, so we quickly went back to hotel, where he rested, while Mom, Maeve, and I went to the Kiti, a great local place, for lunch.
We got back, and have spent the last hour or so playing with her after a failed attempt to get her to nap.
