After I was feeling a little better, Mom, Dad, Mae and I went to a water puppet show with the Myers(except for Mary Jeane, who was looking after Emma, who has pneumonia). It was very fun, and we saw many great things, like the Tale of the Restored Sword (Their Lady in the Lake Arthurian story), and dragons dancing above the water.
After this, we went to a few different stores. We even went to a clothes store where Mom finally learned how to bargain!!! Up!!! She payed them $1.50(24,000 Dong) more than they asked for. The manager counted through, smiled, and said something along the lines of "this'll do!" I also got an ivory knife, with a beautifully carved sheath.
We got to the hotel, and almost immediately went to a great dinner with the Myers (we do everything with them :) and Tiffany, a friend of one of the people from a previous group. It was a great Italian place, where I got linguine with pesto sauce. After this we stopped at a bakery where I got a chocolate croissant. Good night, Vietnam. Good Morning, East Coast.
